Our under 16 girls were on the road again, travelling to Youghal for the third round of the league. Unfortunately the sharpness and concentration the team displayed in their previous two outings were not as evident on this occasion. Even with strong performances from goal keeper, Lia Hipwell and her defensive team, including stalwart Niamh Molloy, Castlemartyr came out on the wrong side of score line of 01-01 to Youghal's 02 - 02. Now with three teams in the league having two wins and a loss each the result in our upcoming fixture against Watergrasshill will be vital in determining who emerges to the next stage of the competition. It's still all to play for.
