This week the under 12s had a hectic schedule of blitzes to fulfill the requirements set down by Camogie Ireland to enable them to begin playing in their already postponed league fixtures. They began on Sunday 17th in Youghal, then played their second in Fr. O'Neills on Wednesday evening and then hosted the third one themselves in Castlemartyr on Sunday 24th.
Teams from Aghada, Carrigtwohill, Castlelyons, Dungourney, Erins Own and Killeagh joined Castlemartyr on Sunday for the final blitz. Games began on time at 4.30 pm with each match lasting 15 minutes. With a 5 minute change over time between games, all contests were concluded by 6.30 pm. Well done to all involved.
