U14B League Castlemartyr 04-02 (14) Rockbán 02-04 (10) We witnessed another great team performance from these girls again on Monday evening as we welcomed Feile B champions, Rockbán, to Castiemartyr for the rescheduled league fixture. Both teams worked hard to gain the upper hand and the play ebbed and flowed from one end of the pitch to the other. Rockbán led going in at half time but soon after the restart we were on level terms. After more scores were exchanged we found ourselves ahead after some great goal finishes. All across the pitch our girls worker tirelessly especially our magnificent half back and full back lines who had an awful lot of work to do in the last 15 mins as the visitors valiantly tried to regain the lead. Thankfully they repelled all attacks and at the final whistle were deserving victors. Well done to everybody involved.
