The scoreline above dose not reflect the match we witnessed tonight in Castlemartyr. At times we were well on top throughout the game but just lacked that killer touch in attack. Our defence coped well with some exceptional performances from our fullback line but again were a little unlucky to concede goals from close in efforts. We played 13 a side due to a shortage of players on the night but we were able to call on reinforcements from our U12 panel who contributed in very positive way to the game. It was a truly cohesive team performance with notable improvements in all areas of the pitch. Our next and final league game is against Aghada which is not due to be played until the beginning of June. So we look forward to a few challenge matches over the upcoming weeks when hopefully we will have more of our regular panel available.
