Well done to both teams who treated us to a great display of camogie this morning. Two very evenly matched sides who battled hard throughout the game. Both defences doing Trojan work to ensure any score that was registered was hard won. All square at half time with a goal a piece it was anyone's game. The second half continued in the same fashion with goal line clearances and near misses at both ends. Both teams scored once more during the half but luckily ours went under the bar while St. Colums went over. Although our visitors put in a massive effort in the final five minutes in search of the elusive winner our stalwart defences aided by our midfielders held firm, never panicked and kept the attackers at bay until the final whistle. Well done to all the girls who played and to the supporters who travelled.
